Please Ensure that bottled water is not present at any Local Authority function/meeting/seminar etc. Also to use whatever influence Cape Town may have at the COP17 meeting later in the month to resrict distribution of bottled water.
All buldings should include water saving measures (dual-flush toilets, rain water harvesting as well as a grey water intallation). Solar panels is another modality that can be added. What one finds strange is that buildings, in particular residential are not well insulated. If they are,then the need to heat up is not so important as the tempreature remains fairly constant. We also reduce our carbon footprint substantially in this way.
