Cape Town inspires a passion and a loyalty among the people who live in this magnificent city. We love the fact that our city encloses Table Mountain National Park, the world’s biggest nature reserve in a city, we dig hitting a beach just 10 minutes after we left work, we’re proud that our city is the World Design Capital for 2014 and we’re voting for our mountain to one of the New7Wonders of Nature. Yes, it all comes back to the natural beauty of our incredible city and the outdoor and active lifestyle, with a very relaxed vibe, that it engenders.

It is time for us to add another accolade to the list for our city. It is time for us to acknowledge the environmental changes that are wrecking havoc around the world, it is time for us to fiercely protect our beautiful home, it is time for all of us to be part of making Cape Town a leader in sustainability and climate change. It is time for all of us to be part of a Climate Smart Cape Town.

Join us on Sunday, 20 November 2011 in the Green Point Urban Park for a free afternoon of fun and facts that will enlighten, and let the light in, about how climate change is affecting Cape Town. The park is a perfect setting. Come and see how the reclaimed waters of the Camissa River are used, an incredible biodiversity garden and the eco-friendly design of this public space. The urban park is a magnificent living example of a space reclaimed, through nature, for the people of Cape Town.

    Hi Peter

I would like to promote a small but practical solution to saving energy and keeping our water clean for the average citizen at the fair.It is the Wonderbag and possibly very affordable organic cleaning products made in Cape Town.
